Our curriculum.
We’ve done the hard work so you don’t have to. By gathering insights from leading experts, top performing college students, groundbreaking research, books, talks, podcasts, and more, we’ve distilled the essential elements of a successful and fulfilling life into our curriculum. These bite-sized concepts are paired with engaging discussion topics, journaling prompts, practical exercises, proven frameworks, and real-world applications.
But what truly makes this curriculum effective is the mentorship that comes with it. Teens don’t just learn these concepts on their own, they work through them alongside a trained coach who provides guidance, accountability, and real-world perspective.
Every client’s journey is unique, which is why the curriculum is personalized to match their goals and relevant challenges. It’s designed to help teens create a strong foundation for their future through five core foundations: Confident Mindset, Academic Mastery, Intellectual Curiosity, Strong Relationships, and Physical Wellbeing.
-
Confident Mindset
Your mindset shapes how you see the world, how you respond to challenges, and ultimately, what actions you take. It influences how much you enjoy or dislike things and shapes how you approach life. The good news? Your mindset isn’t fixed. It’s something you can mold and strengthen with practice.
In this foundation, your teen will learn how to cultivate self-belief by proving to themselves, step by step, that they can take on big, hard things and succeed. Through the “Hard Thing Challenge,” they’ll pick a meaningful goal - like mastering a skill or overcoming a fear - and work with their coach to break it into actionable steps. Along the way, they’ll hold themselves accountable, track their progress, and experience the confidence that comes from persistence and effort.
Your teen will also develop what we call an advantageous mindset. These are small but powerful ways to see the world that THEY can choose, that are more likely to lead to positive outcomes in life. For example, learning to view setbacks as opportunities for growth helps them stay motivated and resilient when things don’t go as planned. By the end of this foundation, your teen will have the confidence to take on big challenges and the mindset to get the most out of life while enjoying the journey. -
Academic Mastery
School shouldn’t feel like the only thing your child can do. The best students aren’t just working harder - they’re working smarter. Academic Mastery is all about helping your child optimize their learning so they can excel in school without feeling overwhelmed.
In this foundation, your student will learn proven strategies for studying efficiently, managing their workload, and staying focused under pressure. From retaining information (rather than cramming) and note-taking techniques to time management and overcoming procrastination, they’ll develop the skills to complete schoolwork efficiently so they’ll have time to enjoy their teenage years.
-
Intellectual Curiosity
Our teenage years are the time to discover SOMETHING that lights us up. Whether it’s coding, basketball, designing clothes, or something totally unexpected. It doesn’t matter what the pursuit is; what matters is enjoying the process of mastering something. That’s what intellectual curiosity is all about: the excitement of learning, growing, and chasing something that matters to you.
This foundation also covers the critical tools that help teens turn curiosity into action. Your teen will explore topics like decision-making, where they’ll learn to weigh options and choose paths that align with their values and goals. They’ll dive into productivity strategies to structure their time effectively, and they’ll master goal-setting techniques that turn big dreams into achievable milestones. This foundation teaches your teen how to take that spark of interest and turn it into real progress. -
Physical Wellbeing
Energy is everything. It’s what powers us to tackle challenges, chase goals, and enjoy every moment of the day. For teens, building strong habits around physical wellbeing is the foundation for sustained energy and focus.
This foundation focuses on three key areas: sleep, nutrition, and movement. Your teen will learn how to optimize their sleep to recharge fully, discover how balanced nutrition fuels their body and mind, and explore movement habits that boost energy, reduce stress, and improve overall health. It’s not about being perfect or over optimizing, it’s about building a solid foundational understanding of the 3 most meaningful inputs to feeling their best every day. -
Strong Relationships
Meaningful relationships are one of the biggest predictors of happiness. A famous Harvard study on adult development found that the quality of our relationships matters more than money, career success, or even physical health when it comes to living a fulfilling life. Research into the world’s blue zones (regions where people live significantly longer than average) shows that people who have strong social ties and frequent social engagement live longer than those who are more isolated. In short, quality relationships are key to living happier and longer lives.
For teens, relationships are especially powerful. Good friends provide support during tough times, help celebrate wins, and keep life fun and exciting. But strong relationships don’t just happen - they’re built. This foundation is all about giving your teen the tools to create, deepen, and maintain meaningful connections.
Your teen will learn how to communicate effectively, opening the door to deeper connections and more fulfilling friendships. They’ll explore cues and techniques for signaling more warmth, charisma, and confidence - essential skills for building trust and connection with others. They’ll also gain an understanding of accountability in relationships, learning how to show up for others and create a network of support they can rely on.
One major project in this foundation is for your teen to actively join a team or community. Whether it’s a sports team, a club, or a volunteer group, this exercise teaches them the importance of showing up, collaborating, and being part of something bigger than themselves. They’ll also learn about living in service, and how contributing to others can bring meaning and fulfillment to their lives.
By the end of this foundation, your teen will have the confidence and tools to build stronger, healthier relationships. They’ll know how to create meaningful connections and maintain the ones that matter.
